The name of the foundation was taken from the Biblical verse of Isaiah 35:1, which states, "The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them. And the desert shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; even with joy and singing." This verse demonstrates the principles of strength, hope and restoration.
